In December of 2017 God began to unveil a dream neither of us ever realized we had. Never had we imagined doing direct ministry together, however God had been placing the steppingstones for this to be a reality for some time and now it was coming to life right before our eyes.  

Jessica knew God was revealing a new call on her life to create spaces and experiences for women to retreat and reacquaint themselves with Him. At the same time, Betsy was following God’s vision on her life of being an “influence to influencers” by speaking leadership, faith, practical ministry tools, and worship into their lives.

In February of 2018 we retreated to Galveston for a mother/daughter day of prayer, dreaming, spa-time, and fun. It was during this time God brought forth the joint vision of what would become Be. At the time there wasn’t a name, we only knew that we were to start by planning a retreat and asking a specific group of women, near and dear to both of us, to join our team. 

Through Be, God is creating space for us to come alongside women in our community (and some all across the nation) and show them how important relational community is, especially through the Church. We are getting the opportunity to build bridges between the every day and Sunday with the hope that through our relationships more and more women will experience God personally, stepping into the call and community He has created for them.

We are beside ourselves with excitement about all that God has done with this ministry and is continuing to do. We know He has called us for such a time as this, so we are stepping forth with great expectation, knowing that He will do far more than we could ever hope or imagine.
